Q2 Results Released on Webcast

EquaTerra released a webcast recently that presented the BPO Pulse survey results for the second quarter of 2007. The topics that were evaluated in this survey include Demand and Buying Patterns, Deal Scope, Pricing, Sales Cycles and Service Provider Capacity and TCV and Profitability. The Primary process focused on Call Center, Customer Care, CRM, F&A, HR, IT and Procurement. The respondents to the survey included EquaTerra Advisors and Leading Global BPO/ITO Service Providers.
Highlights of the results include:
Market Demand continues to slip even though growth remains positive
Deal Size and Scope continue to decrease
Service Provider Capacity remains tight particularly for transition and delivery
Supply Capacity issues, transition challenges and buyer cautiousness all point to a decrease
Service Providers are optimistic on market demand but the expected growth is still down each year
